I get beads everywhere I find them. I really like buttons - so I try to find those at sales or auctions. They are wonderful in a jar for decoration.
I buy quite a bit from Fire Mountain. They have a program that gives discount pricing for the amount of product ordered. I usually just make it to the first level of discount, but this time, I went all out. I got the 50+ piece discount and it saved me $90. NINETY DOLLARS. That is a lot of stinkin' beads... no buttons. I am waiting anxiously for them to arrive. Had I not sought the discount, I would have only got about 15 pieces... so I definitely got a bargain.
I love getting new beads - just to look at them and get them put in their appropriate box or storage container. I have a silver box, pearl box, and millefiore box, plus several others. I haven't found a person that can give me a better method so I just keep filling up the tackle boxes my husband gets me for presents.

I know what you mean! There's nothing like handling beads, appreciating the uniqueness of each one. That's one of the things I love about working at Rings & Things' bead shows. I suspect it's a big reason why people come to the bead shows too!
